Dreamflight Studios MRLB V2.0 released - Amazing!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I don't usually make "just released" threads, but this one I believe certainly deserves your attention. Loading the scenery in P3D v4.5 my jaw dropped with the absolute top quality of this scenery.

I knew Dreamflight was a top developer judging by their latest Quito creation for FlightBeam, but this release sets Dreamflight on my top of the top list of scenery developers.

I hope they continue this pace for P3Dv4 and XP11 releases, I will definitely buy anything they publish. They deserve my highest recommendations.

Wow, thanks for the heads up.     Does it have seasonal textures?   As in, during the winter in Liberia it is drier, and the grass not quite so green.

There is a season switch at the dedicated control panel:

Ok thanks!  I didn't realize that Dreamflight and Flightbeam seem to be related in some way -- config looks the same.

They added their own trees around the airport that stay green through the seasons, these are the tropics after all! No fall color trees in the immediate surroundings as per LM or ORBX.

Interesting that they chose to update MRLB and not MDPP.

Maybe it will be updated before MSFS2020 is released.

Yeah it does look great, and I’m very excited to hear them say that this is a prelude to another airport in the same country! Based on what Shomron wrote, as I had hoped: MROC! Been waiting for an updated version of that for years!

It is an absolutely amazing airport.  I had the original version too, so am very, very pleased with the EUR 5.00 update price.  The update is spectacular.  I l ove all the airports by Dreamflight.

I have noticed one issue I can't figure out yet.  I seem to have two control towers, and I am assuming one of them is a default tower?  Anyone else see this?  There's only one tower in all the screenshots, so I'm not sure what is causing it.  I have searched for any conflicting AFCADs but haven't found any yet.

Edit:

I found the issue.  FTX Global Airports pack has a version of MRLB, so that needed to be disabled.

If you downloaded the freeware package do a search in the ORBX folder for MLRB and remove whatever .bgls come up with the MLRB. I can check to see how many bgls. Usually 3 or 4.

DJJose,

That did the trick...always something simple like that...I was moving around my scenery layers without success...

Thanks!
