Hi everyone!

I currently have a Saitek X52, however, I am looking for something smaller as I needed to downsize in desk. I would like to get a new joystick that has a small throttle within the joystick so that it is small. I know this is not what I want but due to space that's what I need. Any recommendations?

The Logitech 3D Pro has the throttle control built in to the base of the stick, they're kind of an entry level stick, but I used one for years before upgrading to a Saitek X52 Pro, and it never let me down. There's really no comparison between the two, but if extreme space limitations are an issue for you, then the Logitech might fit the bill, they are a popular choice among flight simmers, and they're quite inexpensive as well.

I use the Logitech 3D Pro and have for years.  Throttle, 12 programmable buttons + hat switch. X/Y/Z Axis.  A nice footprint too for a smaller desk.

The Thrustmaster T.16000M is a ~$50 joystick with Hall Effect sensors on the X & Y axes, a twist-grip Z-axis for rudder or tiller, 16 buttons, and a small throttle slider.  It's also ambidextrous--the handgrip can be flipped for left-hand operation (e.g. Scarebus left seat).

Gladiator MK II. Highly recommended. You can order via X-plane.org store.

Cheers.

I know the TM has Hall sensors, but the buttons and throttle on the TM feel cheap, to me the Logitech is more comfortable, and tough, I've had mine a long time and it still works perfectly.
