After 25 minutes of flying what used to be default scenery...

Global SFD will be the best $30.00 you will ever spend on XP11.   Totally transforms areas not covered by anything Ortho4XP or Orbx regional.  I purposely crossed over the most northern boundary of Orbx's Washington TE, and where before adding Mister X's Global SFD, to the mix...was hurtful to the eyes...and I generally turned back. Now...it seems almost seamless.  I've been flying over and past Vancouver Island...and the whole dreadful default 'everything' is gone...the quilt-work fields, and all replaced with very nice, ground cover, and excellent art additions, homes marinas, ships, everything. Again, the best $30.00 you can throw at anywhere XP11 'default'.

Post Edit.  Just edited to say, that now, I find that I can fly anywhere in the world, that is not covered by a custom scenery installation, and still feel that is a continuation of a flight path, into and out of Ortho4XP or Orbx's TE's...this is the flight path 'link' that I needed to transition the aforementioned.  A very good purchase!

The following near-desert terrain as XP11 default use to look simply horrible...but now, has transformed with Global SFD, into the following:

Cessna-172-SP-G1000-2019-11-04-18-37-24.

Thanks I might just have to give this add-on a whirl....

I bought it as much to support Mr. X for so much that he has given us...payware...as freeware....and wasn't disappointed with this, either.  It really is the 'missing link' between any of your custom sceneries...and the auto-gen is very impressive!

Thanks for the heads up, will definitely get this one just to support Mr X as pointed out by Ses.

I found the best combo (visually) for myself, is in using Orbx's TerraFlora for tree and forest visuals, and of course running Global SFD for everything else, to replace all XP11 Default content.  Together, they are a one-two knock out punch!  They integrate beautifully together.  You of course, don't need to purchase the Orbx product, as Global SFD has a pretty nice rendition of forestry built in. I just like the Orbx presentation better, as I had already purchased it, before I dropped coin on Mr. X's little gem.   I can now fly anywhere on the XP11 planet...and no longer cringe, outside of custom whatever...lol.

Here's a few more snaps with both of the above mentioned, in play:

I couldn't agree more. It is a steal for $30. MrX does remarkable work. I also have his KSLC and my home airport KABQ as well as his freeware.
