Amazon sale: Samsung HMD Odyssey+ $279

Nice price, but headset can be uncomfortable for some. Below I provide one of the more balanced reviews.

For Canadians Its cheaper on microsoft.ca CAD$399 free shipping. That's US$302.62 Amazon want US$299 plus US$55 for shipping.

I wonder is this reduction in price so close to black Friday a sign that the an Odyssey ++ is in the offing.😁

I have it (from last year's black friday).

Pretty good headset.

I use my Rift S a lot more for simming, but before I got the Rift S I was using the Samsung in preference to my CV1.

Odyssey gives much better visuals than Rift S for night flying. I still use Rift S 90% of the time, because it just works without any dramas.

I am quoting myself to make a correction. As HiFlyer said Amazon price is US$279 not US$299 that I said. But still cheaper for Canadians on Microsoft.ca because of shipping.

I would buy one at this price. I got my last one at this price but I am determined to hold out until Black Friday.😎

Can’t go wrong with either for flight sims.

They are both a bargain intro to VR and both have beautiful displays that still heavily compete with higher end priced HMDs in visual quality.
