I am very disappointed with this thread. I was disappointed when Tom took what was otherwise a very professional reply to an inappropriate post but couldn't resist adding a personal dig (9 posts) that set off all this piling on and Phil-bashing. I am particularly disappointed over those enjoying this feeding frenzy. And for the record, the number of posts you have should not be an indication of your worth in the forum. I suppose I'll be bashed too now, as I don't have that many posts, but I thought something should be said.

Yeah give Phil a break, you know I considered replying with a tongue in cheek post but I thought well with 11 posts obviously this fellow has not been around for very long and has not seen what this forum presents or what help is available to him. Yes I thought it was funny to read some of the posts but whether you have 1 post or 6000+ posts we all have to remember that we all came here without knowing how truly amazing this community really is.I used to get insulted when I read posts like Phil's and I understand that many of us will defend this forum but we have to remember that people from time to time will use this forum to vent, let them blow off some steam and in time they will either become contributors or they will simply move on. The number of posts a person has, has nothing to do with their standing in the forum. It has everything to do with a threat to boycott, which, judging from the fact that he posted the boycott threat at message nine and continued to post, appears to be a load of rubbish. Having said that, his posts in the screen shot forums just got him banned.

Let's see Phil, you've been a member for two weeks and now you're going to boycott AVSIM? I doubt your boycott will affect the rest of us who have been members almost since the inception of AVSIM.
