The fsl is a fantastic piece of kit which every update makes it even better.  As always you get what you pay for in life.

I heard the ToLiss and FFA320 were pretty good?

One thing that bugs me about them (and yes it's a pet peeve of mine), is the fact that are no pilots in the model when you look at the plane from the outside, It seems so odd. lol

I have all three

tolis 319, ff320 and the fsl  319/320

the tolis and the ff320 are good, but neither of them come close to the fsl which is the cats whiskers.

as ive said before.

I know it absolutly pains XP11 users when I say this,  but its unfortunatley true.. you get what you pay in life.  It really is quite simple.  I know it must hurt peoples feelings that they didnt shell out the extra cash (fo whatever reason) for p3d and the fsl / a pmdg type / price product, but you dont go into a skoda garage and expect to be given a lamborgini for the same price.  its no different here with the standard of addons and the extra goodies you get with them like the FSL and PMDG products.

Thanks for the honest breakdown.

I watched a ton of videos on the ToLiss A319 and just couldn't stop comparing it to the FSL Airbus Series. The systems weren't there, the sounds weren't there and the visual model looks like freeware from a few years ago. Not trying to be rude, but that thing is around $60/$70. No way is it worth that, IMO.

 

I enjoy XPlane,but if I was a huge Airbus fan I wouldn't walk, I'd run to buy P3D and the FSL Airbus (even if the pilot's in the FSL bus are quite a bit underscaled, lol)

dont get me wrong the tolis will do a proper managed descent and will hit every single constraight you give it.  but it doesnt have all the nice addons/extras the fsl does and it doesnt look as good from the vc either.

the ff320 looks really good from the outside and in, better id say than the fsl,but heres the rub, you give it a tricky managed descent to do with a ton of constraights it cant do it properly youll either end up too high or too low, its all over the shop, and it also doesnt come with all the extras that the fsl does.  i could probably list at least 15.  

Now you put this to hardcore xp11 fans they will go nuts.  but the reality is they havent spend 150 bucks on the fsl.

I have a good friend at work that loves cars, he has a really fancy Mercades.  He loves that car, I sometimes get a lift with him and you can tell he absolutly loves it.  He should do, he spend a fortune on it and alot of overtime shifts to pay for it.   

I also love getting a lift in it, its comfy, quiet, roomy and purrs along.  Do i wish I had his car instead of my kia picanto, absolutly of course I do,  and do i  put up with my little Kia Picanto because I didnt want to spend all my overtime and salary on a Mercades, absolutly.   Its the same here with the tolis verses the fsl.  you get what you pay for in life, even if it does cause a bit of resentment.  Just like the business man that walks off a long haul flight in first class paid by the company feeling fresh and looked after, all the while you then limp off after being in economy having been cramped for 10 hours.  Its called envy.  read some Kipling, its all explained .
