September 23, 200619 yr Reading Adam's thread (Comments about the blurries from an ACES developer) rang a bell.I have a medium performance PC (Northwood 2.8, ASUS P4P800 Deluxe mainboard 1 gig of RAM, Nvidia 6600GT 128 AGP and a SATA hard disk)Until now, I had very poor performance using the FSX demo : sudden freezes, low res textures everywhere (including airplane, cockpit and gauges textures)... I tried several video drivers but with no result.I ended up having a look at the Bios settings of the mainboard and increased the Graphics Aperture Setting from 64 to 128.That was the trick : the high res textures are there, no more freezes.Very good performance even with FSX medium - high settings (as long as I don't switch on autogen...)Now eagerly awaiting FSXJean-Paul KInd regards Jean-Paul I7 8700K / Fractal Design Celsius S24 watercooling / ASRock Z370 Extreme4 motherboard / Corsair 32GB 3200mhz DDR4 / INNO3D iChiLL GeForce GTX 1080 Ti X3 / Samsung SSD 960 EVO M.2 PCIe NVMe 500GB / Seasonic-SSR-850FX power supply / Fractal Design Define R5 Black case / AOC Q3279VWF 32″ 2560x1440 monitor / Benq GL2450 24″ 1920x1080 monitor / Track-IR 4
