All Carenado Planes Suddenly Horrible FPS

Recommended Posts

I don't know what suddenly happened, but now ALL my carenado planes (I have many) have absolutely horrible fps. They went from giving me 60-150 fps to only giving me 6 fps. This is true even for planes that are very old. I have no clue what's doing it. Every other addon plane still has great performance, so this problem only affects Carenado planes.

Anyone got a clue?

Well, I think I have it fixed. It was weird though and only affected Carenado planes.

It seems like I have to hover over a switch with the mouse and get the "cockpit tooltips" to show some information, and then, like magic, the fps jump back into the 60s. It's weird, and perhaps something to do with my system only, but it had me good and frustrated for a while. 🙂

Cockpit Tool Tips has been known to be a resource hog.  Have you tried turning off Cockpit Tool Tips?

Try it and see.  It might not be as much of an issue with modern computers, but years ago it was.

I don't know if the are a resource hog, but they do seem bugged in Carenado planes because it's only with them that I have to do what I do to get the FPS back to normal. 🙂

Hello, thank you very much, this solution works, but why does this happen suddenly? how to solve it from the origin

No clue, but if it fixes the issue, I'm fine with it.
