Instrument panel of a PC12

Recommended Posts

https://yadi.sk/i/eQNw-bapbl9vjA

Hello!

I've attached the instrument panel of a Pilatus PC12 for X Plane 11.

1) Could you tell me please what those white diamonds on the left side of the PFD mean? They are not the ILS' dots because they appear on the right side during an approach.

2) Also, I'd like to know what do the letters "F" and "S" mean?

3) Finally, how can I make a turn with the standart rate of turn (3deg/sec)? There is no any turn coordinator on the panel.

Thank you in advance.

Marat.

1+2) That's the Fast / Slow indicator. Centered it means that you are flying the correct approach speed for the flap setting.

3) Haven't seen such an instrument in ages in an IFR equipped aircraft. Usually you (and especially the AP) are using a 25deg bank angle for turns, regardless of speed.
