FS9 v FS2k2 aircraft?

Recommended Posts

Guest drmweaver2

I was looking around the file library and ran across mutlitple versions of interesting aircraft for different FS versions - which raises a question. If an aircraft was released for and is now found in the file library under FS2k2, will it work in FS9?(My duh factor is maxed out right now...)

Maybe. Depends on what was used to create the model. You can find wheels missing and propellers that don't rotate, that kind of thng. Also the CofG calculation was changed between FS2002 and FS9 so there's no gurantee the flight model will work as well as it did in FS2002. Often there are upgrades or replacements for that kind of thing.Allcott

That's what I was "afraid" of... it's a lottery and I guess the only thing I can do is to just try the model and see what I get - if I can't find any upgrade for FS9.Thanks for the response.
