Improving daylight brightness

Is there any way of increasing the overall light levelswithin FS9, by tweaking any cfg file? The default seems to be rather dark. Thanks

Why would you want to use the config file to do that? Does your monitor not have colour, brightness and contrast adjustment or your graphics card allow you to make a specific profile for Flight Sim?Allcott

Just changing the gamma setting slightly (mine is on .92 instead of 1) does miracles.Jean-Paul
