Inibuilds dynamic lighting

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys.  Anybody tried any of these "patches" to add dynamic lighting to payware airport packages?  Just curious.  Looks like they have a handful that would add DL to airports I have.

I have all for the airports I have and really love them. Easy install, couple of drag and drops and your done. Really nice ORBX KPSP, KEGE and KBZN with no noticeable performance hit for me, but as always YMMV.

Also my go-to place when I stumble across the scenery that has no dynamic lighting. I'm just wondering why are there dynamic lighting for some addons that come with DL as stock. Have they done it better?

They do it different. Sometimes an iniBuilds DL patch is better (both visually and performance-wise) than the original.

They've made some older airports really worth visiting at night. Great work by them.

Hmmm sounds great!

No performance hit though?

DL hits my system hard unfortunately.

A lot of those are airports I ordered from inibuilds because either the airport had no DL or the DL had very poor performance.  Inibuilds are much better at applying DL than most airport developers.  Give them a try.  There is no performance hit on my system compared to the original DL that came with the airport.

Had never even heard of their work.  Downloaded all the fields I own and see great improvement.  Great find!

Not a good experience for me. Tried their GSX "improvement" for FlyTampa Sydney and now I have NO Jetways at all. All gone.

Will have to unpick it all. Far too complicated, you have to keep switching backwards and forwards to copy , paste and read instructions , should have an installer/uninstaller.

Cannot say it is no good, as I can't get it to work.

Tried YSSY. Can't see what the difference is.

I'm only referring to the dynamic lighting changes.  I don't use GSX.

Highly recommend it.  The DL is very well done

Yup, they are fantastic. Using both the GSX and DL for FlyTampa's EKCH, works a treat.

I notice on some of them they require changing the max spot lights lines.  Assume this can mess with other airport DL?
