Cargo Hub Airport Sceneries

Recommended Posts

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Just recently purchased the PMDG 748 expansion and looking to fly some cargo routes. What're some solid cargo hub airport sceneries out there? Looking to take advantage of the Black Friday sales going on. Thanks!

FSDT on sale now. KSDF especially for UPS 748.

Also you can get their KMEM.

FSDT KSDF is definitely the way to go for your 747. They also make KMEM which is FedEx's main hub, but they don't fly 747s (757, 767, 777, A300, DC-10 and MD-11 are their main fleet)

Luxembourg Airport ELLX by Justsim on sale now at Simmarket. Hub for Cargolux's 747 fleet.

You might like PacSim’s Seoul RKSI, or their Taipei RCTP. Taxi2Gate has Hong Kong VHHH, though it’s outdated and not officially compatible with P3Dv4. A_A has Bangkok VTBS and Kuala Lumpur WMKK, which also have some Cargo traffic.

There is also Digital Design's EDDP Leipzig/Halle airport and Aerosoft Cologne/Bonn airport (EDDK).

I fly mostly cargo in the 744 and 748.  Aerosoft Cologne/Bonn is a good choice.  Not sure if it is on sale but a lot of UPS 747 action there.  Agree with RKSI and Anchorage.  DD UUEE also sees a lot of ABW 747 Cargo flights as well.  KORD also gets a lot of 747s.  Your choice as to DD's scenery or FS Dreamteams.  Flightbeam Quito also gets a lot of 747's and its a great scenery.  There is also a Viracopos that is great that you can get at sim market.

Good Luck and enjoy!

Yes for South America, in addition to the Viracopos and Quito mentioned above...Santiago SCEL, and Bogota SKBO are also big cargo hubs with recent (<1 year) sceneries.  Also MPTO has significant cargo ops on its northern runway/facilities.   Of course KMIA also is a major cargo hub to all of the below places.  LatinVFR has a scenery for it.

It's a good time to be a freight dog...lots more choice in key cargo airports than there was a few years ago.

OrbX also has a rendition of East Midlands and it’s currently on sale too. I’m personally thinking of getting it, but I generally also very much like UK2000 and have many of their products.
