I got the nose wheel steering figured out. But my biggest problem is, when i add a little bit of power the plane just does circles and sometimes shoots up into the sky.

Did you read the manual about setting up your power settings?  (in general, reading the manual will help you)....

I looked in the manual and don't see how to setup the power settings.

check the afterburner and idle cutoff ...  that's likely your problem.
