+VE rate, Gear Up! (FSX NOTAM: Main gear door animation missing. Was present in V2.0, but not V2.2 Sky Sim notified, but unable to reproduce as yet ).

 

Climbing away across the desert before feet wet over the Arabian Sea.

VOBL is that pale area just to the right of the windscreen pillar.

 

Impressive FSDG Bangalore scenery. I reckon my approach is OK too!  (FSX NOTAM: Not sure why the runway lights don't show up..)

Unloading - a pity the apron lights don't illuminate the jet! 

 

Highly illegal quadrotor shot of the airport (drones are what the military operate.. don't get me started!) . Worth the £8.99 for the airport scenery IMHO.

Interesting trip! Yes, Dubai Airport, been there once in the Emirates (as transit traveler)....not in a FedEx....like you are though...!

Always great to see a threeholer being flown. 

I have only been to Dubai once also as a transit traveller on the wonderful Emirates A380.

Having found some night approach and takeoff videos on youtube - it appears that VOBL does not have centreline lighting.. (I do note that REX4, when generating a theme based on the airport METAR, will vary the lighting textures. This can be overridden  - no need for the Matrox TH2go setting, for example).

On the bright side, some of you have been to Dubai in real life rather than virtual cargo flights..

Yes, I surely recall (Ed’s) double-decker Emirates A380...🙂...passing by my B777 on the way for takeoff...of course, a big and modern airport is also what I recall...
