C208B Grand Caravan (FSX / P3D) problems

I thought the "Optional Patch" was for the Caravan not the Grand Caravan EX. Not sure if would work in EX.

My C208 is this, and the Optional Patch worked great

And no, the EX doesn't need the patch.
