What Are "Hotfixes"???

I just moved from FSX to P3D - no idea what "hotfixes"are. Are these to be installed in addition to the latest installer I downloaded just last week?

If you downloaded it last week, you should have the latest version. The hot fixes are just bandaids LM issued to fix the problems they created from the single update they issued this year.

If you downloaded the P3D installer last week then it already includes hotfixes.

When LM issues an update for P3D, they always provide full instructions on how to install the update.  Be sure to check there first.

A Hof Fix is like a service pack. Like when FSX had SP1 and then SP2.

The difference between a hotfix and a service pack is that a hotfix is usually released way faster than a service pack, since it usually addresses serious problems which need to be fixed ASAP.
