New BETA branch will crash on start

Recommended Posts

I just installed the new BETA branch from STEAM (so basicaly a fresh install of FSX:SE) but the SIM just won't launch.

Anybody already encountered this issue? (I've already taken care of the things like launch with admin rights and AV exclusions)

Hi there, there are many issues with various addons. They said that it is a sim connect issue. I have tried it twice but it crashed to desktop. So i gave up trying. I have many addons installed so i cannot do experiments with it. For more information check the sim connect forum. Regards

Fixed mine!

As I said I installed directly the BETA and it crashed. So unistalled the BETA, deleted all generated files then reinstalled the standard. THe standard FSX;SE did launch so went and installed the BETA over it.

It works now.

Can't tell anything about the Addons since I'm flying P3Dv4 since it's release. Installed FSX;SE BETA out of curiosity and the good will to help MS with FS2020 development.

I will start to load some things...but that would be another topic I gues.

The problem with the Beta Branch crashing, is FSUIPC.

As I wrote, mine crashed due to the clean BETA install (vanilla FSX). I curently fly the Aerosoft Bus and have no problems with it.
