Ground Traffic Only

Recommended Posts

Hi,

There was previously a feature which allowed you to only have ground traffic without the use of real traffic program. Please would you be able to provide me with the previous version that allowed this?

Thanks,

Jacob

I also used PSXT just for static ground trafic. It's a pity that option has been removed 😞

I've heard rumours that it will come back in a special (non Live) version of PSXseeconTraffic ... 😉

It would be great to set Departure / Arrival airport, PSXT reading all flights through RT and then make bgl flightplans for that,

Above xxxx ft ( eg 5000 ft ) those ac disappear and are taken over by RT live traffic. The other way round when descending..

A kind of semi live 😉

That is what AILT software does. Im paying it (5 euros). Its the only way to see at least something real. But bgl is always a bgl.

In the meantime, I have found a developer that can create something similar to realtraffic. We are in conversations!

Yes, I know that program too. A few years ago there was something similar to add live flight plans to My Traffic.

At this moment I use AIG ,but those schedules are from summer 2019 or still winter 2018.

The strong feature of PSXT is that you can use multiple ac packages in order from first used to last used.

Knowing Nico a Non Live PSXT will be a art of work too.

Yes, Nico does it very Good. I hope my friend developer can rebuild a similar RT software. Like this we can take advantage of real ground traffic!

Its strange to feel the air full of moving real ai planes while airport are all sleeping and unreal.

🙂

Your friend probably will face the same issue as Balthasar. The ground traffic data company wants money and more than what has been paid till November 2019.

Paying more means that RT will receive coordinates of 4 decimals instead of 3 now.

It would be great if PSXT could use or 'hook into' an already existing subscription to Flightradar24 for those that use that service (it has pretty good ground traffic representation) . Then PSXT could leverage the subscribers local session of FR24 in their browser running on same PC.. or perhaps this isn't possible.. but just an idea...
