Ground Traffic Only

It would be great if PSXT could use or 'hook into' an already existing subscription to Flightradar24 for those that use that service (it has pretty good ground traffic representation) . Then PSXT could leverage the subscribers local session of FR24 in their browser running on same PC.. or perhaps this isn't possible.. but just an idea...

Good idea. Im a subscriber of flightradar24. I would prefer to give this money to kiek of psxeecontraffic.

Hello lorby!

Of course im going to taste LLTX.but i would like to say that when i used psxseecontraffic almost all my travel were wonderfull.

EGKK GCTS. LEMD LEBL EDDF EDDM ESSA LIRF (Also). Etc. Etc..

So i really think that flightradar24 does it veeery well and i dont "cry" for a plane thst suddenly appeared in the sky. I asumed thst was normal. The data of realtraffic where great and i want to be honest with that. More of this.. This is the reason of my writings here. Its, amazing.

So now i also have LLTX to try and i mvery happy for the opportunity you give us. You say "dont compare" but human being always compare. It is instinctive. Sorry for that. I dont want to return to AFCAD.

I spend many time of my life making my liveried bigger and i was reslly amazed to see EXSCTLYthe same painting in real than in simulator during all this years gaming.

So now lorby live traffic. Lets try!

Thanks for understanding us!

Yeah, that would be great !

At my site you can now download a PSXT package with PSXseeconTraffic versions that do not need RealTraffic. All names are the same, you can just install it over the normal PSXT version.

Could you give it a try, and tell me your findings?

Note that I have not modified the Manual, in the UI you will only find parameters that are important for using parked aircraft only. Also note that the parking situation at an airport will change every hour (or if you change the parking percentage in the UI), just like in the normal PSXT.

What does it do exactly ? I myself do not use Vatsim ...

Can I benefit ? if no live traffic is being read how can it use realistic gate parking ? Will I see flying ac without RT ?

😀

That would be great, especially since FR24 Gold subscription is only $34.99/year...but only if FR24 provides accurate ground position. It seems to me that Balthasar would be the one to incorporate FR24 data, since providing the data hook for PSXseecontraffic is the function of RealTraffic.

It seems to me this is something Balthasar would incorporate into Realtraffic, since RT is the hook to the data that PSXseecontraffic uses to give us liive AI in the sim.

It is not meant for you. You will not see live traffic.

People can use it when flying alone or on a online network. You won't see empty airports any more while PSXT will place parked aircraft at gates. How realistic depends on the airport file used. If one takes one from my web site it is very realistic  but one can ofcourse also create a realistic file manually.

Kind Regards,

Indeed, it is RT's job, not mine.

Besides, Balt can do it at a greater scale at lower prices I presume ....

Thanks kiek .. Yes I did send this feedback to Balt via the survey he was doing earlier. Lets see what the future brings.

Works fine for me. Only, changing the parking % does not seem to change the parked ac.

It will, but it plans the necessary changes in the next 60 minutes. It will gradually change to the wanted percentage

Ok. Is there a way to change the default 35% at startup ? I mean, after 60 min I'm long gone from the airport 🙂

? As soon as you are 5nm from the airport the parked aircraft wil be removed...

You can set the parking percentage for each airport in the airport file.

I have been noticing really strange behavior with airborne traffic - aircraft flying one direction, then moments later the same aircraft flying in the opposite direction, or spinning-in-place. I watched one flight that seemed to be flying it's route in the opposite direction it should have been going, until 20 minutes later the info. on RealTraffic for that aircraft showed a different destination airport. That particular flight was Westjet flight 248 from Toronto CYYZ to Halifax CYHZ. Originally it showed Westjet flight 248,  departure - CYYZ...can't remember the destination, but it wasn't CYHZ, and it was flying toward CYYZ. 20 minutes later it aircraft was flying toward CYHZ, and it's destination info. changed to CYHZ.

In any case, it appears there must be a LOT of garbage data in RealTraffic, and it's becoming all but useless!

Kind Regards,

That I have heard from another user too. Weird flying airborne traffic. And it is something of the last couple of weeks.

Not positive...
