Recommended Posts

anybody else?  Did the couatl update today.  Now all my airports say they are in trial mode and gsx is not in the addon menu anymore.  Tried to run the couatl updater again.

This shall not stand!

I wish this didn't stand. Just as I was falling in love with P3D again too. It's always something, isn't it?

It's pretty annoying that something like an update can knock out every single product from them.

I have all their directories added to my norton exclude list.  But I am noticing an action in security history.

Unauthorized Access Blocked (Access Process data)

Actor:

c:\ProgramFiles\Windoesapps\microsoft.gamingservices_1.35.2600.1.0_X64_8WEKYB3D8BBWE\GamingServices.exe

Target: Norton Security\Engine\22.19.9.6\WSCStub.exe

I'm really not sure what this is, and there is no actions available to take.

Part of the reason why updates are disabled in the menu. Come to think of it I did get a Coatl error message a couple of days ago. I simply ignored it.

I don't have time to continue to update FSDT to have to again fix what it disables or removes from the folders.

Just give it some time, they'll fix it pretty quick. It may be mid day for many of us, but it's the middle of the night in Italy.

Does anybody else have this silly nonsense of a small cart-towing tractor running around in circles around aircraft, nonchalantly crashing into engine pods, sliding about to a halt, and then a few seconds later, back again the same routine?

And why the repeated flags of 'Run Live Update'?

Do you know this for sure.  Nothing on their website acknowledging the issue?

The problem is fixed.

It was caused by an updated .DLL that required a Windows restart in order to work but, as usual, it only affected some systems ( a restart wasn't always required ) but our updater doesn't force a restart or tries to understand if it's required or not, since it's not so easy to do it without forcing everybody a restart.

So, we reverted it to the previous version, which will surely won't require a restart, since it was already registered in the system, and that will surely work in every case.
