Aerosoft A320 Prof odditity

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I have an issue with the Aerosoft Airbus Professional "tubeliner" series. I posted this some time ago in the AS forum, but no one on their team was able to replicate the issue. So, thought I'd throw it out here 😉

With the A318/319/320/321 in P3Dv4.5 (and 4,4), the elevators are hanging down, somewhat - even in cruise flight. When I do the control checks, the elevators move up, but do not move down. What is even more odd is that this does not affect the aircraft's flight behavior, it flies normally, but in external view the elevators are deflected downwards. I have the latest version of the 'bus (experimental) installed. When I first installed the 'bus, this was not an issue, but became apparent after an update of P3D or the aircraft - can't remember which. All my other addon aircraft from various developers are all normal regarding the elevators.

I purchased the new A330 and the elevators are normal on this aircraft.

So, if anyone has any ideas, I'd sure like to hear them.

Regards,

Scott

Have the same issue- came to Avsim looking for a reason the $%&^ spoilers on the a321 won't retract. Handle is down/locked, axis is calibrated, etc. No matter what the speed brakes pop up to about 15 degrees in flight. I also noticed my elevators are deflected down about 10 degrees, also with no apparent effect on flight behavior.

Aerosoft's attitude in their forum is essentially "we can't reproduce it so it's not our problem" in response to several similar posts. The fact that every other aircraft in my hangar is able to correctly use my key bindings and axis assignments is irrelevant, and I'm done recreating my p3d config file (done that too many times to count to no avail).

Hi,

Glad to know that I'm not the only one with the issue (though sorry you have it as well!).

Yesterday tried different cockpit/aircraft scenarios, cold & dark, ready for taxi, not using the Pilot/Co-pilot assist with checklists, etc...no luck.

I'm hoping that when the smaller buses get updated to the same level as the A330 that will solve the issue (fingers crossed).

Regards,

Scott
