The lighting effects are being generated probably for the most part, by xVision 1.41 being driven by this script found on the .org: XtremeRealisticV6.xvs ( if you set the PBR section to a figure of 3.0, you will be pretty much shimmer free. I have tried a whole bunch of them...but in my P.O, this one is the best...sky colors, haze, (more like a 'moist' atmosphere), and of course how sunlight interacts and highlights the topography, as you see here. All my shots, will have this script affecting the visual output. If you also wish to run nVidia's Sharpening filter, you need to disable, the two xVision Sharpening features, found within the script you wish to run.
