Still getting shader errors with fresh reinstall of client

Hello,

I have followed the instructions regarding how to restore the original shaders, but I still am getting the shader errors even after reinstalling the client. I even tried manually deleting the shadersHLSL folder before the reinstall to no success. I am running P3D 4.5 with PTA 2.66.

That is the wrong folder to delete, one that won't rebuilt itself.  Where did you find instructions that had you remove that folder?  Please let me know so I can work to get them removed.

The correct folder to remove is the Shaders folder located at: C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4.

Please, don't forget to let me know where those instructions are that you used.

The ShadersHLSL folder is what PTA looks for when it is run. I deleted it because I thought that uninstalling the client alone wouldn't remove this folder. When I reinstalled the P3D client, it successfully re-added the HLSL folder back in, but PTA is still giving these errors even though the shaders are brand new from the reinstall.

That is P3D v4.5 HF2, right?

Then you need to use PTA v2.67

- only use P3Dv4.5 HF 2 compatible presets

Ok thanks. For some reason I thought you had to install an older version first since the file says Hotfix only.
