Any other outlets for Orbx ? Seems Orbx site does not take paypal and that is where my fun money is.

Listening to a radio station from Iowa🤣

Have you thought of an alternative way other than 'PalPay'? As it has already been mentioned here, their exchange rates are pants. I use my CC and Orbx make it rock-secure as they will SMS you a verification code before you authorise a payment, and I am fairly +ve that the exchange rates are far better than 'PalPay'

Odd. I bought YBCS off them the other day and received no SMS whatsoever; and I'm in Aus. They just grabbed my money, tossed me the parcel and ran 😁

You have to set it up to give them your cell phone number,----or how else are they going to send a SMS----so that they can send that code.

Got it. So it isn't an automatic request from them that you send them your number. Not quite "rock-secure" then unless one knows that they can set up that extra step.

In any case and in response to the whole "no PayPal" thing that the OP mentions, I use what we call here a "Load 'n Go" card. Charge it with the amount you need and you're good to go. Even if it gets hacked all they can take is the specific amount loaded in the card. Works nicely.

So, pray tell what is the difference when my ban/ or credit card company send me a Verification Code to input in a transaction if, say I am buying an airline ticket that costs 100s/1000s? Surely that safety feature would stop a scammer using a credit card?

At the end of the day, 'you takes y'er ................whatever!'

It seems you misunderstood my post. I'm not slamming ORBX for the verification step which is a good idea, for sure. I'm just saying that, unless I missed it somewhere on their website, there is no mention of that option as an added security measure. That's all. Nothing more, nothing less.

Have a peaceful 2020.

prepaid Visa or MC purchased in the US don't seem to work outside of the US.

If Orbx had a US based servor to distribute their products then maybe it would work.  not really sure how that works.
