ASP4 & Rex Sky Force 3D - confused

Recommended Posts

I'm a new user of ASP4 and am rather confused. I also purchased Sky Force 3D as I was recommended to buy both. I use the weather engine from ASP4 (using live weather) and use Sky Force for the textures and themes. What I don't understand is if my Prep3rd Sim is using real weather generated by the ASP4 engine, where do the Themes from Sky Force 3D come into it? If a certain place is cloudy with particular types of cloud, why do I need to choose what type of cloud set I want to install from SF3D? Surely the real life weather clouds override the clouds I choose in Sky Force?
Thank you

As far as I know, The “real Weather” injected by ASP4 is exactly that, weather conditions, abstract entities. It has no graphics elements whatsoever.
