Aerosoft A32x Pro series - looking for opinions

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I own the Majestic Q400, PMDG 737 and was recently gifted the 777, 747 and purchased the NGXu..  I thoroughly enjoy the Q400 and the 737 and I look forward to learning the 777 and 747 soon.  I had some money put aside for the 747 but with the surprise gift I was now instead looking at adding an Airbus to the hangar space.  How would you compare the Aerosoft A32x Pro series to the Q400 and PMDG models?  I hear good things about it.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks in advance for any replies.

All the best in 2020!

Dan

The AS bus is nothing like a PMDG XXX or a Q400. If you like the best and it sounds like you do. You need to add the one aircraft that's better than all the ones you have listed.

FSL A319/A320/A321.

Warning you will get addicted and your find you wont be flying your other aircraft. You have been warned. 😉

I knew I'd get a quick response but you guys have outdone yourselves!  Thanks I will take a look at it.  Does FSL have an allergy to sales like PMDG?

Just like PMDG you will never get one. What you do get is the very best you can buy.

All joking aside its a huge step up from an NG.

But I made a walk though, you will still need to know what your doing but it will save you days trying to work it out yourself. So if you cannot see my sig here is the link.

The FSL runs at the same FPS as the new Ngu so you know. Nothing will make you feel like the captain in charge of an aircraft and getting it off the blocks in time and meating your slot times.

It's so true. I know that PMDG has always had better visuals, better fonts, better texturing...but they cannot get even an inch closer to the level of immersion that FSL Bus brings.

So true, I did a flight in the NGu today and that VC is to die for. But ATSU and the immersion is still way beyond a wonder VC.

The AS offering is far better than it was years ago; and I’m speaking with some A32x engineering background personally.  It’s capable of getting you from A to B following bare-bones normal procedures but there are times where you still need to “babysit” it closely; particularly managed descents, holding, and non-precision approaches.  Don’t expect the systems depth of a study sim though, the “dynamic feeling” of a living machine, or a top-notch sound pack and a slew of customer  options.

If that suits your needs, great.

The multiple engine types across the variants and inclusion of sharklets are a welcome benefit for the price as well.

Of course FSL! Nothing else.

I agree with the others.  I jumped in a few months ago and just love the FSL Airbus.  These days it seems 70% of my flying is the FSL A319 or A321, 20% Maddog MD88, 10% PMDG 747.  They are all good in there own way.  But the FSL offering has become my go to.

Thank you everyone for sharing your opinions!  I'll definitely look into the FSL A320 and make a goal to earn it.  I did also find a guide by 'Chuck' for the FSL A320. I enjoy his guides for the Q400, 737 and will no doubt use them for the 777 and 747 as well.

I think that is the right goal. The FSL is top notch. So go for it 😉
