Spain Photo Scenery Freeware Package

I was never a fan of photoscenery due to download times & space limitations, but a new SSD & the freeware package for Hawaii made me a believer. I also have to say thanks to LM for improving P3D 4.5 to HF2 because P3D v4 displays photosceneries the way they were meant to be seen in a flight simulator. Sharp and just beautiful! ORBX Netherlands & GB look amazing and now discovered the freeware photoscenery for Spain.

I'm currently downloading each section and testing as I go along:

If anyone has Pilot's LEST with the freeware package, please give me your thoughts.

I have at least 10 payware airports and I'm wondering if there will be any issues I should be concerned with?

I also would like to add some night lighting. 

I will also download the freeware airports even though I will probably need to disable many .bgls.

I know that there are a few threads on this excellent freeware package, but I just wanted to show appreciation and give this scenery the props it deserves.

Have a look at this thread:

You'll find autogen + night lighting as well as photosceneries for the whole Europe.
Night textures are much better than any dedicated payware, believe me 😉

Nope 🙂

For Spain, you'll have to download something like 10 files from this grid.
Just put your mouse above the top regions in Spain, download them and continue until you reach the last one.
Download is very quick and free, really awesome!

I found that using Chrome is the best to download each section. Open one folder at a time. Example GALICIA. Then choose one file at a time. They are most under 2gig. You can download with free service as long as you keep it under 5 gig and be willing to wait. I just download a few gig. Exit, install & check out the scenery, and then go back in a few hours to download another section.

Anyone knows how to extract the airports from Air hispania?

It looks like FSX has to be installed in order for the installer to work.

Interesting topic. I might try photo scenery for the first time. Jose there are instructions to trick the installer so you can install it in P3D.

Ok DJ in the zip there is a jpg file that makes it easy to see the grid. Thanks.

Looks like it will be a lot more than 10. Each little grid has to be dl unless am missing something.

The Swiss Alps are beautiful even though the Leman lake is not flyable.

Does Megascenery blend well with ORBX LEBB? The freeware version photoscenery is light green in the area and LEBB is more of a dark green.
