FJS 727 V3 NAV/GPS switch not switching with GTN 750

Recommended Posts

Today I was flying the FJS 727 V3 with the RXP GTN 750 added.  I have connect CDI mode to GPS/NAV switch checked but when the CDI mode is changed the GPS/NAV switch does not switch.  Consequently when switching the CDI mode I have to manually change the GPS/NAV switch.

Hi,

Most likely like every other airliner with an FMS (it has an FMS?) the aircraft is trying to keep control of the NAV/GPS switch obviously.

Have you tried the new CDI sync mode in 2.5.22?

I just tried the CDI sync mode.  With the setting set to sim to GPS on both ways sim to GPS changing the CDI setting on the GTN does not change the NAV/GPS switch on the sim but if I change the switch on the sim it changes in the GTN.  I guess I can live with that but would like it if it worked both ways.

Please note when I made the changes to the CDI sync mode and tested it in one version of the FJS 727 V3 and then switched aircraft to the next version of the 727, X-Plane 11 crashed.  I started X-Plane 11 and went back into the second version of the 727, made the changes then attempted to switch to the 3rd version of the 727 and X-Plane 11 crashed again.  I am running 2.5.22.
