ADB-S receiver

Just a thought … I was thinking of buying an ADB-S receiver , or using some sort of USB tv stick .. is there any way of using that data with PSXSEECON? I live about 5 miles away from Birmingham airport (EGBB) and spend most of my sim time there - so would be nice to have the data in the absence of realtraffic.

It is ADS-B ...

Yes that is  possible if you live near an airport.

You need an antenna on your roof top and an ADS-B receiver and you have to write software to convert the format from the the receiver into the format needed by PSXT (as described in the PSXT protocol document). So it is not plug and play...you need a lot of skills....

Information_zulu, the guy that runs the KLAX website has recently done the same. He lives 4nm from KLAX. You better contact him to find out more details.
