Realair b60 APR vs GPS

HI all, 

Quick silly question about GPS and APR, with B60 duke, (but I guess its the same for all) 

If I do a flight from point A to B with the route injected in GPS, I put the switch in GPS mode to follow the track,  I load my Approach in the gps, few miles from the destination I activate this approach, the question is, do I have to click the APR on Autopilot or is it only for NAV mode and the GPS will automatically follow the approach (altitude included)  ?

NAV mode will only navigate horizontally, if you want it to follow the glideslope then you have to be in APPROACH mode .. ..

Is this with the default GPS or Reality Xp?  I dont think default will fly a GPS approach with lpv mins (ie a vertical path)

As was said above... NAV mode to final.  Verify that glideslope indicators are active and switch to APR mode.
