February 2, 20206 yr As you can see by the title, i can't turn on autopilot for iFly 737NG even though i click it lots of time, i can arm LNAV and VNAV, for some reason i was able to turn on A/P on ground, And i also have my IRS aligned.
February 2, 20206 yr Usually this is because the autopilot requires the joystick to centered when engaging. I haven't flown this add-on in years now, but I seem to remember that there was an option you could set to disregard the joystick when engaging the A/P. I might be confusing it with some other add-on...like I said, it's been years. February 3, 20206 yr Controller issue I’m guessing. Great add-on. Much more complete then the competition.

I switched to the PMDG 737 many years ago and haven't really looked back since. As suggested above, perhaps you should contact iFly on their support forum. February 7, 20206 yr I would recommend checking the iFly forum to insure that any patches, hot fixes, etc. are applied so you have the most current version. Also, maybe review pages 41 - 51 of the tutorial to make sure you are hitting all of the requirements. The only time I've had issues with the Autopilot is when I've forgotten to set it. And it shouldn't be set on the ground, but once in the air.. unless you are referring to Auto Throttle.
