I have finally given up.

Recommended Posts

Reality XP 750 worked fine for about two weeks then I had a message ( invalid licence contact vendor ), thats when the fun started I have download so many times, had no help from Garmin I am just put on to F1 and they do not do technical help so passed on to this site I have been on a lot of the forums moved files here there and every place I could find but still no joy, it shows in the plugins and when you select show window it will appear but with no data, the GPS is still there but will not work so have to delete the program again.

I just think I will just accept I have been swindled out of $49, I would like to fly in XP11 and enjoy it but I am spending so much time trying to get software to work, you download something but it will not work for some reason and you start and spend hours trying to make it work I have so many aircraft and plugging that do not work because of something else that I have in the program.

Don't know the answer.

Hi,

You've come to the right place for help. We're here to assist you.

First, there is no reason the RXP GTN suddenly displays an invalid license unless you've made a change to the computer, like moving around a folder you shouldn't move, or reinstalling a software not as intended.

Can you please try recollecting what did you change on your system around the time it has started to fail?

Can you also post the content of the RXP log files? (see RXP GTN User's Manual for file/path)

doesn't seem deserve any help with this kind of wild claim made on a public forum.

I think many simmers, especially in their early days, get over-excited and resort to language they really ought not to use. I can cut them some slack as it's frustrating. But, after over 20 years of simming, I've learned that it's usually something I've done to stop something working and NOT the vendor. Software is relatively cheap (and I'm a pensioner who has to save before I can buy anything) but it doesn't mean anyone can accuse them of cheating. So my advice to this complainant is to calm down and look at things rationally. I salute all FS software makers, they do a brilliant job and as I say, if you think you can do it better, then have a go! (Yep, I thought not).

I can speak for the P3D version and say it is an outstanding piece of software that I use for real world practice at home (as an multi engine IFR Instructor).

I would expect the XP version would be just as good.

@kdfw__ All our customers deserve support, but you are somewhat right, we deserve being respected too.
