PSX update question

Recommended Posts

When I update PSX to a new version, I see it re-installs all the airports over again. When I use the PPGenerator and cut and paste the files into PSX, does it delete these new airport files after each update?

Yes it will, but there are two possible ways to prevent it:

1. Choose not to install the airports when updating a new version ... , or

2. Let PPG generate airports in a new folder of your choice and connect PSXT to that folder.

How do you choose not to install the airports in the installer?

It is an option in Select Components page, instead of "full installation", you select "no airports" or "no airports and no liveries"
