This is a short flight over the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the San Juan Islands in the PIPER Cheyenne II twin turboprop with instructional comments. February 7, 20206 yr Author Depends on what definition you use for precision and non-precision. A precision approach uses a nav system that gives course and glide path guidance. The horizontal guidance within the glide slope confines satisfies a precision approach that I used for this application.
