List of RC4 keyboard commands?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Where can I find a list of the default keys for RC4 and their function?

Is there a way to automatically tune frequencies with an option, but not proceed with the command?

I can get ATIS and delivery with 2 and 1 when starting up, however when RC goes to ground it automatically requests taxi. I want to request push before that though. Is there any way to do that without tuning ground manually first and then using that option?

Thanks.

On the opening page " Keyboard" button lists all the commands and gives you the option to change them.

I am not sure of your other points. I will check it out and reply later, unless Ray answers in the meantime (he is the de facto expert).

Thanks Ian for your post.👍

If you tick Tune on Contact but leave Pilot Auto Reply unchecked that should give you what you want.

After Clearance is issued the menu options change to 1) Ground on nnn.nn and 2) Req Push and Start. Request P&S first. After pushback is completed then you contact GND for taxi clearance.

Thanks Ray. I thought that might be the answer but wanted to test to make sure. Unfortunately, we are in the middle of "rolling blackouts", so no electricity makes it a bit awkward to fly.

When I visited my cousin in KwaZulu Natal in 2008 power cuts were frequent then too. Seems things are not getting any better. 😕

No. Unfortunately due to lack of proper maintenance (and fraudulent tenders) over the years, there is a serious lack of generating capacity. So any major breakdown causes s**t, or as we say "kak".

@IanHarrison, my cousin’s husband had an opinion on the way the power grid was managed but AvSim’s swear filter would block it. They left RSA in 2012 and now live in Ireland.
