GTN buttons in the VC

If you find that the Direct-To and Home buttons do not work reliably in the VC, here is a replacement Interior Model file:

Hi Bert,

may i ask how do you fix it in the PC 12 pilatus interior.MDL? I ask because this problem occurs in every airplanes VC where i use the GTN.

Thus the problem could perhaps be solved in all aircrafts.

You are correct... the fix is to edit the Interior Model of each airplane with a hex editor and invalidate the "Leave" and "Drag" mouse events for the Home and Direct-To buttons.. no simple task, I am afraid. Some airplanes have multiple instances of these sections... so be persistent.

Example from the PC12:

Before:

Direct-To Key    
...
(M:Event) 'Leave'  scmp 0 == if{ etc        
(M:Event) 'LeftDrag'  scmp 0 == if{ etc  

After:

Direct-To Key    
...
(M:Event) 'Leav_'  scmp 0 == if{ etc        
(M:Event) 'LeftDra_'  scmp 0 == if{ etc
