February 19, 20206 yr Hello, it's winter time - while there are photoreal winter textures for FSX (Switzerland Professional X), the quality of the textures from Aerofly FS is much better Always safe landings, Torsten Edited February 19, 20206 yr by PhotoReal Earth Always safe landings 😉
February 22, 20206 yr Beautiful collection of pictures, Torsten! (Can’t get enough of Swiss Alps...) So, the last 4 images (where the color changes) are from AFS? Thanks for the post...!
February 22, 20206 yr Great ones. The detail maybe better in AFS but I like the FSX coloring better personally.

March 8, 20206 yr Excellent comparison. The AFS mountains look so much crisper. Can it be that AFS uses a better mesh? Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080
March 8, 20206 yr Author Better mesh? That's a good question. I've never noticed a difference in mesh quality and I've made a lot of flights in switzerland in both sims. So if you need a quick answer I would say no big difference - but I might be wrong. If we take a look at the peak of Matterhorn / Monte Cervino then you are right. Beside this it's hard to find big differences in mesh? But of course the ground textures from aerofly FS are much sharper and crisper. It's really a lot of fun to have this quality in flight simulation It will be very interesting to see if MSFS 2020 can beat this Always safe landings 😉
March 10, 20206 yr Superb pics, from both simulators. I know the Zermatt area from many former vacations; these pics bring back memories. Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
