PSXseeconTraffic stops working after 10 – 15 minutes

Hello,

I'm using PSXseeconTraffic with RealTraffic in FSX over the network. PSXseecon connects correctly to Sim and RealTraffic and Live aircraft are generated and injected.

After approx. 10-15 min everything freezes and PSXseeconTraffic and RealTraffic screens are no longer updated.

The traffic disappears from FSX, but I have all the green bars in PSX and RealTraffic !

The version numbers are as follows: Real Traffic 8.2.79; PSX 17.2

Until the end of October last year, of course with older versions, everything worked perfectly.

After that there was the known groundtraffic problem, so that I could not use PSX until now.

Is that your main worry? Please calm down. You are using my free program.

From the log I conclude that PSXseeconTraffic did not freeze because you were able to shut it down. But apparently the traffic flow was interrupted. Is this error consistent? I mean what happens if you re-start (after you had corrected the errors)?

Or what happens at another airport?

No no!
I was just a little disappointed that I couldn't solve the problem myself!

I think the program is great and I like to use it!

To your question:

I only need to restart PSX, then everything runs again for about 15min.

I keep real traffic running without reload.

I wonder about the log entry "Exiting: USER CLOSED SIM" .

I kept running FSX - there was no error message .

A repo to another airport doesn't help.

A minor problem is that your user aircraft has the wrong type code. I see "dh8" , it should be "DH8D". You can change that in its aircraft.cfg file [General] section atc_model=DH8D

 

This part worries me:

Is your traffic percentage set at 0%? You're not using another AI traffic program?

Yes, my traffic percentage is 0%.
I also don't use any other AI traffic program.

Only the setting airport vehicle density is at a minimum .

Could that be a problem ?

That is no big problem, PSXT will repair and continue.

Here is  32 bit .exe version that will generate a lot of trace info in the Log. Run till you get the problem then p.m. me for my mail adres.

I have run this version (17.4) twice.
The freezing also happened again.

Where could I send the logs to you
if you need them ?
