ai aircraft lights

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to select an option in P3D so the ai aircraft fly with their lights off?

Thanks, LouP

Why do you want their lights off?

The only option available is is to disable that DL illuminates the ground, but that will disable yours too.

OK funny people ;-).  I am using a lot of different ai aircraft in FirefighterX and sometimes all I see is a white blob of light that overwhelms the whole aircraft.  I am not sure if it is being caused by the shockwave lights but I do not want to uninstall the lights as they look fine from the pilot's perspective and these are aircraft that I also fly as a pilot (not just used for ai).  It's mainly cause by the landing lights which they shouldn't have on anyway.

Give this a go.  Makes a huge improvement in AI lights.  https://www.fsreborn.com/ai-lights-reborn-free-edition

Hey, now thats an idea. 🤗

Without a screen shot nobody can say, but its likely bad settings for shockwave. I would think AI Lights Pro would resolve it.

I see, what you need is AI Lights Reborn Professional Edition. Since this version will allow you to set your AI Lights with the light size and light intensity you want. among many other features .

AI Lights Reborn Professional Edition would be a good solution to your problem, Lou.....and you would get to keep the lights ON as a bonus. This software allows you to adjust the Effects Size of the landing lights on the AI planes, and you are also able to adjust the Effects Size, Dynamic Light Size and Dynamic Light Intensity of the navigation lights, beacon lights and strobe lights. The sliders for these effects enable you to set up the visual appearance of the lights on your AI planes to suit your own preferences. You can even choose between several sets of textures for the lights themselves.

FsReborn Pro is a musthave in my opinion. And you can customize the lights to your liking.

No doubt the pro version has more features, but you can always start with the free version to get an idea.

The freeware will not help him at all with the issue he is describing..
