February 27, 20206 yr I'd like to see LM finally fix the most basic bugs like the completely wrong constant speed prop sound simulation, the very unrealistic mixture simulation and the inadequate turboprop and jet engine simulation. Couldn't care less about improved terrain, graphics etc. if they don't fix the decades old bugs first. Edited February 27, 20206 yr by FDEdev

February 27, 20206 yr for me I'm not necessarily looking for that many new features. First and foremost I would like compatibility with everything I have now. Then performance improvements. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
February 27, 20206 yr Performance, performance, performance! I'd trade all the new features for a higher frame rate, more stutter free experience. February 27, 20206 yr Author For those that want performance improvements you should possibly then vote for new graphics rendering engine - which I assume you have done. Those that want sloped runways, autogen etc, should possibly vote new terrain model as a general extrapolation. We cant split hairs too fine.

February 27, 20206 yr With PTA + PR scenery + custom AG the environment looks quiet good. If the weather/clouds/lighting will be improved then the overall will look very realistic. That's why we're still stuck with this snail's pace sim with very slow advances regarding anything significant. Too much sensitivity about compatibility. Whatever breaks can also be fixed later, as far as I'm concerned. We have to sacrifice something at some point. Edited February 27, 20206 yr by ErichB
February 27, 20206 yr I don't disagree with you. But for me it's hard to imagine that P3D will be my sim in the medium term. That doesn't mean I intend to jump right into MSFS. Likely will be a year even after it's initial release. So that's why I am just looking for incremental change from them. Again I don't know that to be the case. But if I had to take a bet now... 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

And the scenario start time bug that doesn't allow you to reliably set a UTC (Z) time in the scenario. It's mind-boggling that after all the releases of P3D you still can't rely on the set UTC time not shifting off an hour, especially given the target audience of the sim (military users that operate using Z time as the standard).
