October 13, 200619 yr I could have sworn that i saw a video with baggage going up into a plane. well, at least up the baggage carrier.
October 13, 200619 yr I haven't seen baggage going up from a support vehicle, BUT, if you sit and watch an A.I. plane at a gate, you will eventually see baggage, fuel, and other support vehicles approach the aircraft, 'service' it, and then pull to the side. A push-back mule then positions itself ready for the A.I. call. The call comes, and the mule executes the push.Fantastic!I'm enjoying exploring and watching the FSX world as much as getting a plane into the air.The most involved sim to date. This stuff eats up FPS, but man...what sheer FUN and ENTERTAINMENT!!!I feel like I'm truly at a real-world airport. Like I said in another post, build the sim, and the hardware will eventually run it at a clip....Cheers!Mitch R.
October 13, 200619 yr If SHIFT + E opens the main doors, how do you get a baggage vehicle to your boeing / airbus. I heard it was SHIFT + E + 1, 2 etc but that just brings up my other displays.I can call jetway, fuel and pushback but no baggage. Please HELP?
October 13, 200619 yr I was only commenting on an A.I. aircraft where you don't actively call up for service. It's done in the A.I. background. If I find what you are asking for, I'll post back the resultCheers!Mitch R.
October 13, 200619 yr And, hey, don't forget all the new AI sound support! If you don't already have a 5.1 system you'll want to get one if you enjoy just sitting and watching AI.
October 14, 200619 yr Nels,In the event you've not already discovered the "switch" for the baggage conveyor and cart, on the 737 you must hit Shift-E followed quickly by the "2" key. That will cause the cargo door to open and signal the conveyor to come over and "hook up". There was one time when I did this (Cleveland) where the baggage cart delayed coming to the aircraft for several minutes... not sure why but it did eventually come.Remember, Shift-E (both at the same time) followed quickly by the "2" key.HTH!
