Speed constraint call too early during descent

Recommended Posts

Hello Dave,

During descent when the STAR contains some speed restrictions, the announce "Slow to xxx knots or less" comes a long time before reaching the restricted waypoint.

It happens to me whatever the STAR or dest airport used.

Version 2.6.1.1 R3

Thanks!

Nothing changed on Speed Constraints in this version.

There are 2 constraints imposed.  One is any published constraints, and the other is a blanket constraint of 250Kts below 10,000 ft.  This latter one is increased to 280 for "Heavy" aircraft based on the call sign.

When it happens again, please note your speed, altitude, next waypoint and what STAR you are flying and let me know,  I'll look into it.

Thanks,

Dave

I have this issue since several versions, not only with the last one.

Here is the last case:

Destination LFRS : STAR GODAN1A, transition NITEM, approach RNAV-rwy21

Approach waypoints were : UPALO, REN, GODAN

Speed restriction is 210 knots @ RS404 and P2A requested decceleration already around REN if I remember correctly.

>>>> Here is the INA chart

Thanks

Thanks for the follow-up.  I was able to get the bug, although mine was later in the flight.

I'll work on it for the next update.
