March 5, 20206 yr We have made sure the power source is always on. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Garmin Trainers. I have run X-Plane with high performance NVidia (default) selected. This particular system has always had issues with GTN 750 (GNS 530 works fine). We have been through several version of the GTN 750 hoping an update would fix it. Checked Webroot Secure Anywhere quarantine, but was empty. Windows 10 1903, Intel i& 7700, 16 GB RAM, NVidia GTX 1060, 256 SSD boot and 1 TB HDD, X-Plane 11.41 (has been an issue from 11.2x). BTW: The other two simulators systems we have work flawless with GTN 750.

Do you see a GTN trainer application in Windows Settings > Apps ( and if so, which version ) ? NB: Garmin has just released a new 6.62.3 bug fix this morning and we're working on updating our GTN right now. If you're installing the Garmin trainer from Garmin website there is a great chance you're installing their new version. Edited March 5, 20206 yr by RXP
March 6, 20206 yr I have the same issue, i have windows 10, I re-installed the GTN 750 so many times trying to fix this that I had to get more activations from you, pulling my hair out. I had a serious computer crash a week ago and had to re-install x-plane, the GTN 750 worked before, and even now with X-plane re-installed, my trainer installed ok, and even the GTN 750 seems to have installed ok, I can see it in my plugins, and when I'm on the runway, I can open the GTN in the plugins tab at the top of the screen and see it's working properly, but the unit screens on the panel of all the planes that have the GTN, just stay black. Can you please send my a link to the patch when you have it? 16 hours ago, RXP said: Hi, It looks like only the database is installed but not the trainer. March 6, 20206 yr Sorry to be late to the party... I have the same problem. Worked perfectly for a year, then after downloading Garmin TXi simulator from Garmin (was thinking of upgrading my real plane), the GTN750 and GTN650 are now blank. Uninstalled, reinstalled, no luck! Please help
March 6, 20206 yr Dear Reality XP , I have come across the numerous threads across this forums relating to the same issue. Threads date back as far as 3 years old. Out of the 100 threads I seem to find no help or little help. You have to say to yourself after so many years why continue selling a product that is either broken or improperly tested. There should seriously be some sort of video or a guide to solve these many issues with the title BLACK SCREEN NOT WORKING. I hope you can figure out something soon since I too have plunged my money many months ago on this product and I have yet to get it to work. Today I make a second attempt of days and days trying to solve this issue. I am seriously lost and don't have a clue on what to do next. I currently run X PLANE with the Carenado Citation, Carenado Bonanza, and the DHC Otter. All 3 aircraft are compatible with the GTN 750 but i have yet managed to see any working results. Can someone please help me out and the many folks suffering from the same problem. GTN 750 shows up on Otter but wont power on, GTN doesnt even show up on CItation or Bonanza. Trainers are installed on the C drive while the GTN application is installed on my Xplane plug in folder. Edited March 7, 20206 yr by RXP
March 6, 20206 yr I have the GTN 750 for the Carenado PC-12 and it had been working flawlessly until today when, for no apparent reason, it does not even show up in the aircraft. I have scoured the internet for help to no avail. I have reinstalled it, updated it, and reinstalled it again and nothing works. Of course, RXP does not even have an option for you to contact them, they just defer you to forums and say, some word(s) not allowed! Does anybody know any possible way I can get this to work again? March 7, 20206 yr I have the same issue Paul, my GTN 750 doesn't even show up in some of the Carenado GTN planes now.. I don't know if it's the latest X-Plane update causing this or what's going on.. but RXP really needs to look into this, it now seems there's several of us with this issue.

March 7, 20206 yr PS do not let my new member date fool you guys since I have been a member of AVSIM since 2000 , my old username was somehow lost in the moving of files and severs when AVSIM revamp their site because i could never retrieve it again.
March 7, 20206 yr So i have managed to post a log file hoping is the one you guys need in order to help me out. Also not quite sure why does it say there is no trainer installed when I have been playing with the trainer without a problem .
March 7, 20206 yr Hello, Trainer seems to be installed: "Garmin Aviation Trainers 2.7.0.0" having the same problem. However, I do not find a folder named C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\Databases\ C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\ show subfolders ...\Launcher\ and ...\Packages\ only. Was "Databases" possibly renamed to "Packages"?
