Problem with connect to xplane 11

Recommended Posts

Maybe someone can help me with this problem. When I click the connect button, I have only one point that the simulator is connected and that’s it. All inscriptions on the top disappear and when setting the frequencies in the assistant there are no items. https://ibb.co/2nNgCkc

When Pilot2ATC connects, there will be 3 lines in the Speech Text Window at the bottom right and the Connect button will turn green.  Just looking at the screenshot, the call sign might not be valid (see # 4 below).

Here are some other items to check for a partial or no-connect situation:

  1. Be sure you are connected to the internet
  2. English-US Language installed and set as Primary Language
  3. Working Microphone installed and set as Default Sound Input device in Windows
  4. Valid Call Sign – Try using the default call sign of Mfg: Beech; Tail Number: N431VB.  Press the Save button.
  5. Try running the program in Administrator mode by right clicking on the Pilot2ATC.exe file and selecting “Run as Administrator”
  6. If it seems to partially connect but the Connect button does not turn Green, set the Weather option to a different source such as NOAA Real Time Weather and try again

Clicking the Connect button two more times works too for me when it doesn't go green.

Cheers, Andy.

To get a green connect button, you MUST have at least destination entered into the flight plan area or load up your desired flight plan.

I always have a flight plan built before connecting. Sometimes it doesn't connect on the first attempt, just like sometimes it doesn't play the P2ATC ATIS until I flip flop the ATIS frequency twice. It always connects on the second attempt though.
