Aerosoft Airbus Professional - T.O Trim Problems

Recommended Posts

I installed the latest build of the Aerosoft Airbus Professional A318/19/20/21.

However, I am unable to properly operate the airplane because - when using the fuel planner - the trim values are always DNsomething no matter what the weight or fuel load is. In other words, the fuel planner calculates wrong t.o. trim values. If I use the co-pilot "on" function, the co-pilot then sets the wrong values, leading to a red warning during take off.

Any ideas what might be going on?  User error? Bug?

(I consider Aerosoft's forum support to be lackluster at best, so I'm posting this here in order to tap the collective intelligence of folks.)

Ricardo41:

So, dial the negative number in the trim, using the trim wheel if you don't have a trim button.

It is the setting required for takeoff with that load. Negative or not, it does work.

You misunderstood the issue:

At all fuel loads, except extremes, the trim is always DN - even with a lightly loaded flight. Hence, the copilot sets the wrong trim, leading to the aforementioned warning on take off.

This is with the latest build of the Aerosoft Airbus Professional 318/319/320/321. The previous build didn't exhibit this behavior.

Also, there are several threads about this on the Aerosoft forum.
