CTD when try to create custom route

Recommended Posts

Hi, great update really very awesom yesterday after install the new version i followed all steps to work fine after installed and test the new version, so i liked the new way o view to create custom routes and assign custom names. But today i had problems when i wanted to create custom route. I opened the airport view and select the gate then i created the route and put the custom name for example facing southwest on F then save the route and the sim freeze, so crash to desktop i don`t what happen. After i loaded the sim again and i looked if my custom route was saved when selected the gate on airport viewer and CTD again. I reinstalled ugcx.  After some attempts work fine i could make pushback, but when i finished the flight i wanted to make other flight i had CTD once more i don`t know what is the cause? Anybody else have any CTD?

Hey Emanuel,

Question after you save the route's name you request pushback before closing the UGCX airport's map window?

Hi Manuel, i`ve tried two ways:

1. Open UGCX menu -> select airport viewer -> select gate and create route after create route i saved with custom name and get CTD

2. When request pushback sequence then user defined pushback route and get CTD on the same gate that created custom route

Can you go to the UGCX appdata directory and copy that airport's profile and send it over?....

1- Go to your Windows Explorer and write down "%appdata%" it will let you go to the directory.

2- Go to "Ultimate Ground Crew" subdirectory

3- Inside you will find a "Airport" subdirectory,

4-Inside a "SAEZ" subdirectory

5-then send us over the content of the gate that is presenting the issue.

Does this happens with all other gates?

i just test on some gates now i`m making a flight and it works fine, but i believe the problem is random i don`t know.

It happens at KMSP, SAEZ

KMSP gate F16:

[PushbackRoute.0]
totalwpnts=6
tailhdg=45
nosehdg=225

I did same test, but didn't had a CTD, i will continue trying to reproduce this CTD. If you could record the steps you make in a video, would be nice, I can follow same steps

Could you record from you start to create the route then actually when the CTD happens?, and upload to a private/shared with us youtube video?, so i can see and reproduce it easily and fix it right away?

Thanks for your answer Manuel, so far i’ve had any ctd, but if it happens again and get ctd i will try to record a video

But are you able to create and edit custom routes directly in the simulation then?..just to know that feature is working for you. Since it's new, there maybe a bug that escaped from our testing, so we would like to know so we can fix it. If you find it, try to record, so we can reproduce it here and fix it.

Cheers,

Manuel
