FSX-MS Autopilot failure to follow fly plan

After creating a flight plan the autopilot does not turn to 1st waypoint or continue to follow plan

Is the VOR ident recognized from the the flight plan . Do we have to enter headings to each way point.

what am l doing wrong?

I think we can just call it FSX or did you actually mean FS2000?  FSX came out in 2006

OK, now less confused!  Did you file and IFR or GPS flight plan?  Is ATC giving you turns to make before you get to your waypoints?
