MK Studios Dublin

Recommended Posts

Hello All! I'm thinking about getting MKStudios Dublin, it's 50% off and for the amount of routes you get it looks great. Could anyone comment on performance (I run the FSL at Heathrow at the 30fps mark), as well as Customer Service? Thanks!

Is it a worthwhile investment?

At that price, how can you go wrong? Investment? Nothing in Flightsim is an investment since you can't resell.

It's fantastic. Performance on my system is awesome. Perfect for short flight in the NGXu😁

Apparently there is Dublin City available. Don't know the name of the developer but if that goes on sale

I'd pick that up too.😁

PrealSoft have made Dublin City, and I have just installed it to complement MK Studios Dublin airport. I have not had a chance to have a good look yet, but I will report back when I have seen the combo in action.

Nevermind I see it at sim market now. Not sure why it wasn’t showing for me earlier.

Where is it on sale? Or did I miss it?

Thanks Guys, gonna pick it up today. Its also nice because MKStudios have stated their intention to develop and port to the new MSFS, and I'll get the NG3 then!

EDIT: I'm thinking of getting one more scenery, is it good to go with MKStudios Dublin at a sale or FlyTampa Amsterdam at full price? Oh, and it's worth noting that the only plane I have for commercial routes is the FSLabs a320.😁

First time into MK Studios Dublin this afternoon with PrealSoft Dublin City also installed. This was just before sunrise (so still relatively dark), but I could see streetlights in the city, and the scenery seemed (based on what I could see) to be blending OK with the outer edge of the airport scenery. I will need to see it in daylight to be certain, but it definitely added to the immersion. Bear in mind here that I use the PlayHorizon VFR Photographic Scenery Volume 9 Ireland East with these two scenery packages (not ORBx FTX Republic of Ireland), but framerates were very good. The detailed coastline included with my photoscenery (far better than the crude representation in landclass scenery) seemed to be working just fine with both the airport and city scenery packages enabled. I have PrealSoft Dublin inserted directly below MK Studios Dublin in my Scenery Library.
