A2A Steps Up

Recommended Posts

Spent a bit of time with both the P-40 and Cub tonight, what a tale of two polar opposite aircraft!  The P-40 tried to kill me...twice.  Once on take and once on landing.  🙂  Need to spend some time learning how to coax this one on and off the ground...WW2 warbirds are a whole new area of aircraft for me.

The cub on the other hand couldn't kill me if it tried.  What a fun docile aircraft!

I look forward to learning both and to great fun flying at either end of the difficulty spectrum.  Great job A2A and thanks again for the generous offer!  A class act for sure.

How kind of Scott and team. I am going to buy something to thank A2A. Maybe I'll repurchase the Cherokee. I had it in FSX and liked it's speed yet docile handling.

Very commendable move to lighten the gloomy mood  ! I’ve had this plane for years and she is a hoot to fly. From the engine startup on to the landing rollout ...

Thanks for the kind words guys, and apologies to anyone who is struggling to load our site at the moment to download their free copy of the P-40. We'd hoped our web hosting company would be up to the extra demand, but looks like the surge was way bigger than expected.

Anyway, please don't panic if you can get get into our store at present: the P-40 will be free for a while to come. 🙂

Best wishes, and hope you all stay healthy and cheerful!

I’m not that into warbirds personally so I won’t download this just for the sake of it , I’ll save the bandwidth for someone else who’d like it, but I’d just like to take the opportunity to express my gratitude to A2A for this gesture.

I downloaded the P40 last night, another A2A product added to may hanger, thank you A2A, a very nice gesture, and will be remembered. It would be great if other devs done likewise, if possible.

You don't have to download it, just add it to your account if you change your mind about flying warbirds.

Long been an advocate of the A2A P40 - reviewed it for Avsim years ago in fact. Similarly always been an advocate of A2A, which I genuinely rate as the best developer for FSX/P3D by a long way, and this gesture only serves to put them in even higher esteem. I hope that like corona, knowledge of their generosity goes viral and serves to make their products just as infectious.
